Crime operations launched by Greater Manchester Police and its partners have had a massive impact on the borough. At present Bury is at it's lowest ever crime rate which relects the success of these operations that continue to tackle identified crime and disorder in our borough.

Operation Wicked is the latest project to stamp out theft from cars . It’s all too easy in our busy everyday lives to forget to hide satellite navigation systems and cd players from sight.
Posters, stickers, key rings and postcards have all been circulated in car crime hotspots to raise awareness and make sure our locals and visitors are not caught out.
