Covering an area of some 10,000 ha and with a growing population of over 182,000 the Borough of Bury is made up of six distinctive towns. Although Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Radcliffe, Tottington and Ramsbottom all retain their individuality, they still form an integral part of the Manchester city region, which in itself is the regional centre of North West England and the UK's largest economic area outside of London.
Bury safe for businesses
Within the community safety team is a business partnership that works hard to ensure that Bury is a greater place to live, work, study, visit and importantly conduct business. It is important to us that we understand the needs and aspirations of Bury's business communities, small, medium and large.
We realise the effect that crime can have on your business and are more than happy to help with advice on how to combat antisocial behaviour and theft to prevent you becoming a victim of crime.
We want to work with you to make your business environment safe and secure.
